S M Shardul Islam
Founder & Head of Operations
S M Shardul Islam is a seasoned development professional with more than 14 years of experience in programme management, project implementation, strategic communication, and partnership development within Bangladesh’s development sector. His career reflects a strong combination of technical programme leadership and communication expertise across NGOs, development organizations, consulting firms, and media platforms.
Over the years, he has developed expertise in project design, programme management, business development, strategic partnership development, capacity development, knowledge management, and strategic communications. He has led and supported the design of impactful communication campaigns aimed at raising awareness and influencing behavioral change across development initiatives.
Shardul’s professional experience spans a range of national and international development organizations. He currently serves as Senior Assistant Director at Padakhep Manabik Unnayan Kendra. Previously, he held senior management roles at Red Orange Communications and worked as Programme Manager at BIID Foundation. He also served as Programme Coordinator and Project Implementation Lead at the Association for Community Empowerment.
In addition, he has contributed as a consultant to several high-level initiatives. He worked with UNICEF Bangladesh in coordinating the CSSP Monitoring, Implementation, and Evaluation process. He was also involved in the collaboration between UNICEF Bangladesh and the General Economics Division of the Bangladesh Planning Commission for the development of the Government of Bangladesh’s 8th Five Year Plan (2020–2025). Furthermore, he contributed to programme management and coordination for the Blue Gold Programme implemented by BWDB and DAE under Mott MacDonald.

Nazia Yeasmin
Advisor, Programme & Just Transition
Nazia Yeasmin is a development practitioner and researcher with more than a decade of experience working at the intersection of climate justice, just energy transition, education, and community development in Bangladesh. Her work integrates programme leadership with research, policy engagement, and multi-stakeholder collaboration to advance inclusive and sustainable development solutions.
Currently engaged in initiatives on climate resilience and energy transition, Nazia has been closely involved in coordinating national-level advocacy and knowledge platforms that bring together civil society organizations, youth networks, researchers, and policy actors. She has played a key role in facilitating collaboration among a wide range of stakeholders to strengthen evidence-based advocacy for renewable energy and climate justice in Bangladesh.
A significant part of Nazia’s work focuses on research and knowledge generation to inform policy and practice. She has contributed to community-led action research and ecological vulnerability assessments examining the social and environmental impacts of fossil fuel–based energy projects on local communities. Through these initiatives, she supports the documentation of community experiences and promotes locally grounded alternatives that align with principles of a just and equitable energy transition.

Dr. ASM Shahidul Haque
Team Leader, Project Implementation
Dr. ASM Shahidul Haque is a highly experienced development professional with 25+ years of expertise in programme design, strategic project implementation, value chain development, market systems strengthening, and private sector engagement. He currently serves as Team Leader, Project Implementation at Collective Impact, where he leads programme designing and project implementation focusing on Strengthening Value Chain (SVC) & Eco Social Governess in RMG and Leather sector.
Academically, Mr. Haque holds a PhD in International Trade from the University of Honolulu, USA (2005, distance learning; thesis: “Impact of WTO on the Textile Industry of South Asia”), Master’s in Development Studies (Environment) from the University of Dhaka, an MBA in Marketing from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka, and a B.Com (Pass) from Dhaka University. This strong academic foundation in environment, development studies, and marketing underpins his ability to design evidence-based, sustainable programmes that integrate economic, social, and climate-smart solutions.
Throughout his career, Mr. Haque has demonstrated outstanding leadership in programme design and large-scale project implementation. As Sr. Consultant/ Team Leader – LeatherTrace Bangladesh : Treaceable and Circular Leather Project (TCLP), Group Leader – Strengthening Value Chains and Private Sector Development Expert at Euroconsult Mott MacDonald (Blue Gold Program, 2013–2021), he designed and led multi-year agricultural market transformation initiatives across coastal Bangladesh, managing a US$5 million Innovation Fund, developing Market-Oriented Farmer Field Schools, and creating value chains for rice, vegetables, fisheries, poultry, and livestock. He previously served as Program Manager – Food Systems & Climate Change and Tea Value Chain Project Manager at Solidaridad Network Asia (2021–2022), where he designed climate-smart business models, land and water efficiency programmes, and safe food supply systems. Earlier leadership roles include Deputy Program Manager at iDE (CSISA-MI Project), Acting Team Leader and Market Coordinator at Winrock International (Katalyst), Team Leader at Bangladesh Centre for Advanced Studies (BCAS) for EU- and USAID-funded projects, and senior marketing management positions at BEXIMCO Group and Jamuna Group.

Sabbir Ahmed Nahid
Team Lead, ICT
Sabbir Ahmed Nahid stands at the forefront of Bangladesh’s digital revolution, a visionary ICT leader whose career has been dedicated to transforming rigid public institutions into agile, citizen-centric powerhouses of efficiency and inclusion. As Team Lead for ICT at Collective Impact, Sabbir brings an unparalleled blend of technical mastery, strategic foresight, and relentless drive to modernize governance, bridge digital divides, and deliver measurable impact in one of the world’s most dynamic developing contexts.
With over 18 years of progressive experience, Sabbir has orchestrated high-stakes digital transformations for some of the most influential organizations shaping Bangladesh’s future – including UNDP Bangladesh, the British Council, USAID-funded initiatives, and key government bodies. Currently, he serves as Local E-Governance Consultant for the British Council’s Effective Governance project, where he spearheads stakeholder engagement with powerhouse agencies like the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) and the Birth and Death Registration Information System (BDRIS). He crafts compelling agency briefs for international experts, co-designs inclusive policy workshops, and develops usability checklists that ensure digital services reach marginalized communities – turning complex policy dialogues into actionable, quick-win interventions that simplify lives.
At UNDP Bangladesh, Sabbir has been a driving force behind the Institutional Strengthening for Promoting Accountability and Transparency (ISPAT) project since April 2025. As National Consultant – IT Expert, he provides strategic oversight for nationwide digital governance reforms, leading the full software development lifecycle for e-governance applications that comply rigorously with NGOAB and Government of Bangladesh ICT policies. He champions SDG-aligned dashboards, database digitization, vendor governance, cyber security compliance, and innovative outreach through mobile apps and social media-ensuring transparency, gender-responsive design, and broad institutional resilience.

Ashish Kumar Saha
Manager, Accounts, Admin & HR
Mr. Ahsish Kumar Shaha is a results-driven accounting professional with over 7 years of progressive experience in financial management, payroll administration, and operational oversight across multiple organizations in Dhaka. He is working as Manager, Accounts, Admin & HR at Collective Impact. He has a proven expertise in end-to-end accounts functions including general ledger reconciliation, month-end closings, trial balance preparation, accounts receivable, payroll processing, invoice management, and petty cash control.
His skillset span across QuickBooks, Xero, Microsoft Excel, and data analytics, with a strong track record of ensuring accuracy, resolving discrepancies, and supporting strategic financial decisions. His hands-on exposure to HR-related operations (payroll, employee payments, and dispute resolution) and administrative processes positions him to effectively lead integrated Accounts, Administration & HR functions.

Shams Ahnaf Rafid
Software Engineer (Android Developer)
Shams Ahnaf Rafid is the prodigious problem-solver and code architect who fuses mechanical engineering rigor with elite programming prowess to craft seamless, high-performance Android applications that push the boundaries of innovation in Bangladesh’s tech-driven development landscape. As Software Engineer specializing in Android Development at Collective Impact, Rafid applies his razor-sharp analytical mind and competitive edge to build intuitive, scalable mobile solutions that empower users – from rural communities accessing livelihood tools to urban youth engaging with skills platforms – driving efficiency, accessibility, and real-time impact.
Currently pursuing a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering at Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET), with an impressive academic achievements. Rafid’s academic foundation instills a disciplined approach to systems design, optimization, and complex problem-solving-skills that translate directly to robust software engineering. His ongoing thesis research, “Study of Machine Learning-based State of Charge (SoC) Estimation Techniques for Lithium-ion Battery,” leverages Python to explore AI-driven predictive models, demonstrating his ability to integrate emerging technologies like ML into practical applications, including energy-efficient mobile apps.
Fluent in C, C++, Python, and Java -the cornerstone of Android development-Rafid excels in data structures, algorithms, Git/GitHub workflows, and MySQL database management. His leadership as Competitive Programming Trainer and Problem Setter at CUET Computer Club since January 2023 has seen him mentor peers on advanced topics, design contest problems, and foster a culture of excellence-skills that now inform his collaborative approach to app development, from ideation and prototyping to deployment and iteration.

Based in Khulna, Bangladesh, Amon brings a proven track record of building high-impact digital solutions from cross-platform mobile apps to enterprise-grade web systems. As a pioneer in modern development techniques, he specializes in Flutter for seamless iOS/Android experiences, Firebase for real-time backend magic, API integrations, cloud architecture, and AI-assisted coding workflows that accelerate delivery without compromising quality.
His contribution includes cutting-edge e-commerce and subscription platforms, honing skills in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments with global reach. Murad Hossain serves as Director, Audio Visuals and Documentaries at Collective Impact Bangladesh. He brings over 11 years of experience in creative direction, visual storytelling, and production to our multidisciplinary team. He leads the design vision across our projects. This includes NGO and development sector work, advertising campaigns, IT solutions, digital marketing initiatives, and learning platform content. His expertise helps create compelling visuals that communicate ideas clearly and drive impact.
Before joining Collective Impact, Murad held key roles in the creative and production industries. He served as Director at Director’s View. He was Chief Assistant Director at Gaw Productions. He worked as Art Director at Excel Telecom Private LTD. He also served as Assistant Director at Dop Production.
Murad earned his Honors and Master’s degrees in Physics from Jahangirnagar University. He is currently pursuing a second Master’s in Media and Film Making at the Film School, Bangkok University. Mr. Kamruzzaman is working as Training Coordinator at Collective Impact. He is a dedicated Training Coordinator with extensive experience in designing, delivering, and managing capacity-building programs for NGOs, community organizations, and multi-stakeholder initiatives. Specialized in supporting Collective Impact frameworks by facilitating training that strengthens cross-sector collaboration, aligns partners around common agendas, and builds shared measurement and continuous learning capabilities to drive sustainable social change.
He worked as Jr. Training Specialist, Urban Development and City Governance Project (UDCGP), LGED funded by JICA at Nippon Koei Bangladesh Ltd. (NKB).

Faiza Fairooz
Graphics & Architectural Designer
Faiza Fairooz is the visionary creative who bridges architecture and compelling visual storytelling, transforming complex development ideas into powerful, aesthetically resonant designs that inspire action and communicate impact with clarity and elegance. As Graphics & Architectural Designer at Collective Impact, Faiza brings a rare fusion of architectural precision and graphic artistry – crafting everything from 3D visualizations and infographics to brand identities, campaign visuals, and heritage-inspired illustrations that elevate our thematic narratives and stakeholder engagement.
A Bachelor of Architecture graduate from Shahjalal University of Science & Technology (SUST), Faiza completed her degree with a standout thesis on the ‘Centre for Contemporary Performance Art, Chattogram’, a project that showcased her ability to blend spatial innovation with cultural sensitivity. Her academic foundation is complemented by specialized Coursera training in Fundamentals of Graphic Design and Infographics, giving her a polished command over both technical drawing and visual communication.
Since February 2023, Faiza has been working as Junior Architect at Nirnoy Upodeshta Ltd., where she produces architectural plans, working drawings, 2D/3D visualizations, and model making. Simultaneously, she serves as Editorial Member of the prestigious architectural web journal Sthapattya O Nirman, where she curates and publishes projects, engages with leading architects, and attends national seminars – sharpening her eye for storytelling through design.
